Downloadable resources
These files contain the questions covered in each of the live lessons. These were streamed every Tuesday from 19th April to 17th May 2016 with a 'Final thoughts' lesson on 23rd May (the day before the exam). The 'revisited' videos cover any questions which I didn't have time to complete during the live session.
File type 1 - interactive (use on computer, tablet or phone)
File type 2 - print out & scan QR code
Clicking here takes you to a YouTube playlist containing all of the National 5 live lessons. It's a good idea to download the lesson files and try the questions before watching the video.
Update - the live lessons were recorded at a time when National 5 Physics consisted of 3 Units (Electricity & Energy, Dynamics & Space and Waves & Radiation. Some schools are still teaching the course this way, although others are teaching it as six topic areas (Dynamics, Space, Electricity, Properties of matter, Waves and Radiation). Don't panic - the content covered in the videos will be of use to you no matter how you're being taught as the Physics hasn't changed!

Also on YouTube...

Past Paper solutions videos include vector addition, MOSFET circuits, line Spectra and half-life. I'm constantly adding to these so make sure to subscribe to the channel to get updates as new videos are released. Together with the other videos, the majority of the National 5 Physics course is covered. The Past Paper solutions videos have a blue header in the thumbnail image.

This series of videos, with the yellow header, includes practical demonstrations of some common experiments. I've concentrated on the topics that pupils find difficult initially - transistor switching circuits and voltage dividers. I have started planning a series of videos which demonstrates experiments which pupils are expected to describe - look out for them!

Each topic lesson (green header) covers a single topic area and often includes worked examples at the end which you can use to test your knowledge.
